learn to crochet

If you know how to crochet or are just learning how to crochet, chances are you are going to be making a baby blanket. Learning how to crochet can be a wonderful experience that rewards you with a lifelong skill and outlet for relaxation.

If so the first thing that comes to mind is a granny square hat. Fortunately I was experienced enough to make it work. You will generally start with a beginners crochet block; as it is the start of many other projects.

The kind of yarn is mercerized twice, giving it strength as well as shine. If you are a beginner and frequently lose your place, write the patterns on lined paper, one instruction at a time. If you don't know of anybody that crochets, check online for some good tutorials on how to crochet and read patterns.

As you practice, you will learn more and more. You can crochet straight forward items almost immediately and once you ve mastered the basics you can go onto the more complicated patterns when you fancy a challenge.
